2016, September - Scottish Games, Livermore, CA

We spent some time at the Alameda Country Fairgrounds watching the Scottish Games.  These people are throwing a caber, a long, heavy pole that is usually between 15 and 20 feet tall and weighs between 90 and 150 pounds.  They had a women's division.

We also saw a bagpipe parade.
