2010 and 2011 - Couple of trips to Las Vegas

In November, 2010 we drove  to Las Vegas to see Jessica and the family.  We stopped for a short break at Murray Farms at the base of the Tahacahpi Pass.  It was sunny and nice and we got some fun pictures. 

When we got to the top of the pass there was snow in the pass.  How lovely.  

Later that day we saw a beautiful moon rise over the desert. 

In April, 2011 Mary drove to Vegas on her own.  Near Kramer Junction she saw very serious thunder and rain clouds.  It was very dramatic.
