2014-09 - Southern California, Manhattan Beach and the Angeles National Forrest

We had a lovely visit with Josh and Vanessa this month and one day we headed down to Manhattan Beach to the pier for a bit of exploring. with them  

It was a lovely, sunny day and the pier 

and beach were busy.

We found that standing under the pier gave us some interesting photo opportunities.  

We stayed until early evening and tried our hands at filming the sunset.

A few days later we were heading home and decided to take a detour through the Angeles National Forest.  This is right on the northern border of the city of Los Angeles.  Great Drive.
